![]() ![]() Bill solved the problem years ago, I didn’t think about it when I started this thread. A manual reset trigger would be similar in operation, and likely faster than the set trigger. Once you get used to it you are not slowed down much. I still have an Anschutz 1413 with the 5039 double set trigger that can go down to 1/6 of an ounce. Realistically, a manual reset trigger solves the problems without creating a brand new trigger and changing actions for it. The thing that finally hit me like a hammer is Bill’s thread “Why do I carry on so much.”, when he mentions there is no upward pressure from the trigger. Action makers just may not want to dive into the trigger market. The posts from the other guys made me realize something. Planned obsolescence keeps the market going.I didn’t realize Langley made a 90 degree trigger. Haven't we been here before? John Langley made the trigger. ![]()
